G.C.E ordinary level examination (o/l) 2022(2023)
We have now received the result of the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination .The examination of these results that we received was hold in the May month of 2023.The Sri Lanka Examination Department was able to successfuly complete the relevant subjects within a period of nine days.
Sri Lanka was held in May 2023 beyond the sheduled time due to the recent Covid 19 epidemic and economic crisis.However , the Sri Lanka Examination Department managed it successfully.
G.C.E. Ordinary Level examination is considered as a basic qualification for higher education as well as a qulification that holds the firts palace in many jobs.Here, language knowledge and maths knowledge take a major place . According to the tex books of two years,i.e.10 th and 11 th grades, this exam related checks are made candidates apperaring fo the first time in six general main subjects and three selected catagory subjects will face the exam , but after that they are given the opportunity to face again according to their needs and conditions.
The Sri Lanka Examination Department released the result for the year 2022(2023) on November 30 at midnight .
According to these results, 83% , of the candidates have passedthe exam and the number of those who did not appear for the exam is 234 and 20 results were suspended . The number of people who appeared was 300,000. Of that,200,000 school applicants.
Candidates have been given the opportunity to to apply online from 16 th to 19 th December for the resurvey of the results .
