G.C.E. (A/L) EXAMINATION – 2020 (New / Old Syllabus)

Instructions to fill the re- scrutiny of results application via online

(For School and Private candidates)

SINHALA                       TAMIL

01. Applications are calling only via online for re-scrutiny of results of the above

examination.

02. Closing date of applications is 10th of July 2021.

03. Use one of the following methods to apply re-scrutiny of results.

*Log into the official website of the Department of Examinations https://doenets.lk and click on

to “School Examinations” which is under “Our Services”.

* Log into DoE , official mobile app of the Department and click on to online applications

(School Examinations).

* Log into https://onlineexams.gov.lk/eic

04. Before completing the application, reading technical instruction sheet and watching the explanatory

video on filling the application, is necessary in fill the application accurately.

(It should be considered to use the National Identity card number which you have used when you

sat for the examination.)

05. The fee for the re-scrutiny per subject is Rs. 250/=. This amount can be paid by a credit/debit card

or to a post office.

06. PDF format of the application can be downloaded and it should be kept with you. And, you will be

received an SMS to your mobile phone after paying the relevant amount.

07. It is the responsibility of the candidate to enter all the subjects which he/she wish to apply

accurately. The applications without the relevant amount will be rejected without further notice.

The amount paid for the application will not be refunded.

08. Candidates who have scored less than 30 marks for subject No 12 – Common General Test and as a

result have become ineligible for university entrance, can also forward re-scrutiny applications for

that subject.

P.S. - Due to the present Covid pandemic situation in the country, the recommendation / signature of

 the principal is not necessary for the applications of school candidates.
